We are currently advertising for a postdoc (or junior researcher, based on experience and qualifications) position in our group, for the Network Measurement as a Service (NMaaS) project. Applications deadline is 7th January 2018:
IEEE Communications Society’s Young Professionals committee is delighted to invite academics, early career researchers and PhD students from all over Scotland for an evening of talks and professional networking on the 30th of November 2017 at 17:00. This meetup has been themed around current trends in data communications research, from applications and technologies to architectures and networks, with keynote talks from leading research and industry institutions including the University of Edinburgh, Keysight Technologies, (the world’s leading electronic measurement company) and the University of Glasgow. We hope this event will be a great opportunity to learn about research in data communications in Scotland, to talk about inter/cross-disciplinary collaboration opportunities, and to meet new people.
We are delighted to announce that BT will be supporting a fully-funded PhD studentship in Computing Science (Computer Networks) in our lab through an industrial CASE award.
The studentship will support four years of PhD work in the area of lightweight Network Function Virtualisation (NFV).
The successful candidate can start as soon as possible.
